500 matches, xbox live punishes me for winning, and new stats to follow

I'm sitting 40 points away from Grade B with Chun.  I WAS at Grade B after beating an Akuma player.  But suddenly, before I could get out of the lobby, my XBL disconnected.  Nothing was saved.  On top of that, I got a disconnection penalty, dropping my points lower than they were at the start of the match!  So my last four matches send me back to where I was after the disconnection penalty: Beat a Chun in a mirror match, lose an epic to an awesome Sakura player, beat a Guile player, then drop one to a flowchart Ken.  Super Fail Fighter 4!

So here I am at 500 matches.  I was stopping at either 500 matches or 5000 BP, whichever came first, since I was 100 BP away from 5000 starting the night, and 9 matches away from 500.  Meh, should've been Grade B.

So here's the chart that I wish I was posting tomorrow.  Also of note is that I added Akuma in.  Don't ask my why, but I just started toying around with him in the lab, and started getting semi-comfortable with his moveset.  Not comfortable enough yet, as I am losing, but hey, it's a start.  Enough rambling, MOAR CHARTS:

Also, a new chart I'm keeping, and I think this one will span all games:

This should help me see somewhat precisely in what scenarios I'm dropping rounds.  I think I will only update this one when I reach a plateau of matches like I do now, instead of doing it every 100 rounds or so.  Otherwise, I would probably be doing it once every other day or so.

Any other stats I should track?  I keep the First Attack stats on a sheet titled "General Stats" just in case I can incorporate any more--they can all coexist on that spreadsheet.

SSF4: 400 Matches

So here we go: another milestone, another chart.  Got sick, the only game I could concentrate on was something a little more easier to work, like Final Fantasy XIII.  But here is the chart.

Rufus is winning at a better rate than I had him going in Vanilla.  Him and Dee Jay still need improvement.  I haven't toyed with Juri any.  I'm going to soon, and if I see improvement, she stays.

WHY CAN'T I BEAT VEGA ANYMORE?!  Inquiring minds are dying to know.

300 Matches

Finals are over! WHEEEEEEE!

Ok, back to the show. Finally got to 300 matches. Starting to do really better. Although things are really starting shift against me. That's fine though. My Chun stats, however, are staying pretty consistent.

One thing that will change as of the next 100 matches, is I took out Ibuki. I just don't feel her, at all. She's potent, but not in my hands.

In her place has gone Rufus, who I was starting to train in Vanilla. I think I'll be running him more once I get everything down.

Without further adieu...THIS! IS! 300!

200...ish matches.

Oops!

So I went overboard and forgot to post my spreadsheet at 200 wins. So here is where I stand at 210 wins instead.

Honda is turning into a bad matchup. Surprisingly so is Guile and Vega. (WTF?) My least favorite matchup out of the new characters so far is Hawk. He's just as dangerous up close as Zangief, and has an easier time getting in. Best thing I've found with Chun is just taking a step forward after blocking a Condor Dive and sweeping. If anyone has a better plan, let me know.

So far, I haven't worked on either Dee Jay or Juri extensively yet. Once I battle my way through my term papers and finals, I'm going to get cracking.

Super Street Fighter 4: 100 Matches

So Super Street Fighter 4 is out and I have my first chart prepared. The reason you saw no more of my charts in Vanilla was that I switched my computer over to Linux, and had (so I thought) backed up all my data to DVD. Well, when I booted into Linux and put my DVD in the tray, there was no data on it. I have no clue what happened, but Windows is to blame.

Anyway, the first 100 matches were completely not what I expected. I was expecting Dee Jay to be my main, but after toying with him, I'm just not feeling it. My Chun is coming along nicely, and once I start hitting EX Legs into Kikosho with accuracy, well, that will make things so much easier.

The big surprise is that I'm really feeling comfortable with Juri. Note, I'm not racking up wins with Ms. Han yet, but that was the same with Chun in Vanilla. Once I pick up the nuances, and my muscles get used to circle motions on the stick (I curse myself for only playing charge characters), I think Juri could easily be my main, if not my secondary.

So here you go, click the image to see the chart (the chart is too big to just copy/paste HTML now).
